When planning to study Chinese language abroad in China, many people know of only Beijing and Shanghai, and they do not know which other city to choose. Why not try Tianjin, the third leading city in China just next to Beijing and Shanghai?
Tianjin, which is adjacent to Beijing in the north of China where standard Chinese originated, is nationally famous for its friendly citizens, pleasing environment and comfortable city facilities, and what is more, the cost of education there is much lower, only about half as that in Beijing and Shanghai.
There are fast shuttle trains running between Tianjin and Beijing at intervals of 10 to 30 minutes everyday, the trip taking only 30 minutes. Many young people in Beijing even choose to hold their wedding banquets in Tianjin, where their guests can enjoy well-known Tianjin food while they can deduce their budget – transportation expenses included!
The College of International Education (CIE) of Tianjin University of Technology (TUT) that is located in Tianjin is a desirable institute to learn Chinese language. The teachers of CIE are experienced in teaching Chinese to foreigners, and they are very helpful and friendly. Try their websites and learn more about the Chinese language programs of the university.
